Enquire about this day/short breakThe Mourne Mountains are said to have inspired Belfast born CS Lewis to create the magical land of Narnia. If you have ever had the pleasure walking to the summit of Slieve Martin, above the village of Rostrevor, you will understand why. In a letter to his brother, Lewis wrote "that part of Rostrevor which overlooks Carlingford Lough is my idea of Narnia".

So why not escape to this magical land, just 60 minutes from Belfast and 90 minutes from Dublin for a weekend's break. Rostrevor Holidays offers quality self-catering accommodation on a peaceful farm setting, only half a mile from the Ulster Way, with a walk to Cloughmore from Kilbroney Park being a must on any list. With a choice ranging from a 1 bedroom 3-star cottage with an open fire, to luxury 5-star houses, you will return to real life refreshed and relaxed.

All accommodation has access to washing and drying facilities (either within the cottage or on-site), and maps are available. We are happy to provide advice on the best walking routes to suit your individual needs, making this break is suitable for all. We can also organised guided walks.

The short breaks are available for the months March through to June, September and October depending on availability.
