Shimna Challenge Sportive

This is a 50 mile cycle through the heart of the Mournes; it is suitable for everyone from leisure cyclist to club racers. David Catherwood Memorial Sportive (Cycle4Christ)

David Catherwood was a highly valued member of the Cycle 4 Christ (C4C) Cycling Club. In July 2016, David was tragically killed in a cycling accident. In his memory, C4C are organising the inaugural "David Catherwood Memorial Sportive" in July 2017. The route will be 61 miles - one mile for each year of David's life and will raise funds for the CLIC Sargent cancer charity.

South Tyrone Sportive

Clogher Valley Wheelers organise the South Tyrone Sportive which leaves from St. Ciaran's College, Ballygawley. Two routes are available on the day. 65 mile route with fast flat parts and also some challenging climbs mid way through. There is also a 35mile route. The sportive will be well marshalled with plenty of food/water stops and plenty of refreshments at the end.

Causeway Cycle Challenge

Bann Wheelers are holding their Causeway Cycle Challenge charity cycle on Sunday 30 July. All proceeds will go to charity. The nominated charities are Marie Curie Cancer Care, The Phoenix ADHD Project, Coleraine and Mountfern Adult Centre, Coleraine. There will be two routes, one at 30 miles and one at 60 miles long, both travelling along the beautiful Causeway Coast. The routes start and finish at Coleraine Rugby Club and travel from Coleraine through Ballymoney, Dervock, Ballycastle (60 mile only),
