Dungannon Cyclist Takes on 1,500 mile Challenge for Charity

Tuesday, May 23, 2017

Malachy Mallon, a 50 year old cyclist and owner of The Dolphin Fish and Chip Shop in Dungannon is taking part in a 1,500 mile cycle for the Fishermen's Mission charity.

Created to provide emergency support, and longer term economic, practical and spiritual support to fishermen and their families, Malachy hopes his epic trip will raise funds for the charity, as well as it's profile amongst the public.

As part of his trip, Malachy will be visiting all 10 of the UK's top fish and chip shops. Beginning with his own in Dungannon, he will cycle across Scotland, England and Wales - finishing up at the UK's number 1 Fish and Chip Shop, Kingfisher in Plymoth. Follow his journey with #MalOnAMission
